Jacqueline Carter

Elder Jacqueline Carter was born in Harlem, New York; her parents: the Late Pastor Nathaniel
Thompson and Pastor Fannie Mae Thompson-Jameson (remarried). Her academic background
includes graduating from the Uniondale Public Schools of Long Island, New York; attending
King’s College, Briarcliff Manor, NY and graduating from Bethel Bible Institute, Jamaica, NY. She is
currently pursuing anAccounting Degree (CPA) at New York Institute of Technology.
Elder Carter was baptized at an early age at the New Hope Institutional Baptist Church,
Amityville, NY under the pastorate of the Late Rev. Ira James. She received her license in the
Gospel ministry in 1982 and serves the Lord in various capacities in the church.
She is the proud mother of two daughters: TaLisa (Dr. Carter is an Assistant Professor in the
Department of Justice, Law & Criminology at American University, Washington, D.C.) and Nancyia
(United States Army Veteran). She is also the GiGi to Music. In 1991, the family membership moved to
Liberty Baptist Church, Brooklyn, NY under the pastorate of Rev. Curlee Windham, Sr.
Pastor Windham and the Manhattan Council of the Eastern Baptist Association ordained
Elder Carter in 1998.
God has blessed Elder Carter to lead multiple ministries including serving as the
Chaplain for the Salvation Army's Wayside Home School for Girls in Valley Stream, NY, the
President of Free Women in Christ, Savannah, GA chapter, the Savannah President of the
P.U.S.H. Rally (Pray Until Something Happens), and a member of Women’s Aglow Women’s
Ministry in Nassau County, NY. Elder Carter also ministers in revivals, witnesses on the street,
facilitates sessions at retreats, and leads fellowship in hospitals.
Elder Carter loves the word, Psalms 37:5 is her favorite scripture. She also enjoys music ministry where
her favorite song is "Only What You Do For Christ Will Last".
Most importantly she is excited about the ministry of
Women Blessing Women -
